Thought I'd try the extra toasty cheez itz and they defenitly are as advertised. They defenitly taste burnt to the point i would have sworn they used liquid smoke or some artificial flavor to achieve it but I think it's just the cracker being overly baked. They were tasty but I'll be going back to the classic original that I have been addicted to my entire life. They were too toastt for me but they are defenitly as advertised!
Too burnt for me but maybe not for you!

We love eating and enjoying Cheez-its and the White Cheddar variety, recently my wife picked up the extra toasty baked variety, disappointing. We will be very careful at which variety we choose in the future, not all Cheez-its are the same

These are fantastic and even better than the originals! Honestly I would like them even a little more toasty. There were a few in the bag that were extra dark and these were the best. I truly hope these stick around. I used to buy a box of Cheez-its once year or so. I would eat a box or two a month! Great job guys!!!! Maybe label the box a little better so that those who accidentally purchased these and didn't enjoy them will stop crying ;)

Extra toasty Cheez-its are in four words, “absolutely Ah Maze Ing!!” Taste is phenomenal and the crunch! Didn’t think it could be done, but this is perfected Perfection!

We like a lot of the different Cheez It flavors, but this one is a miss. They do not taste cheesy and they look and taste burnt,

I love things toasty and in my house we fight over the “burnt/extra toasty” chips and crackers. This product is what I have been hoping for my whole life! Thank you for listening to whoever suggested this! Mmmmm... so good!

If you like food well done — these are the best. Idk why reviews are complaining that they’re burnt when they’re literally called extra toasty lol they’re better than the original— in which I’d always jump for joy when there was a burnt one !
